By creating and adopting the principles of information science, we aim to train engineers who have a broad and deep knowledge of this field, as well as an international sense. In this way we will cultivate highly creative scientists who independently carry out significant research and development.

[Work content and job description]
Research Fields and Responsibilities
(Immediately after hiring) Instrumentation engineering and/or design engineering, such as (1) Measurement and geometric processing techniques for large-scale 3D digital data, (2) Innovative systems integrating large-scale 3D digital data with reality technologies such as VR, AR, and MR, and (3) Cyber-physical and digital twin solutions to social problems. Candidates with empirical and practical research experience in these fields are especially desirable.
(Scope of change) Duties as determined by the University.

Teaching Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be requested to teach some subjects such as:
Advanced Exercise in System Science and Informatics I and II, Advanced Study in System Science and Informatics, Digital Geometry Processing, and others at the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology;
Signal Processing, System Design, System Management, Optimization Theory, Fundamental Mechatronics, and others at the School of Engineering;
and some subjects in the liberal arts course.
