Kyoto University Institute for Integrated Radiation and Nuclear Science (KURNS) invites applications for a Professor position, as described below.
KURNS was established for the joint use program among Japanese universities to promote the research and education in the fields of nuclear reactors and related subjects. The Kyoto University Research Reactor (KUR) and related research facilities have been used in a wide variety of scientific areas.

The successful candidate is expected to lead the research field of development of radiation responsive compounds and radiopharmaceuticals using next generation drug discovery platform technology and the radioactive-material-handling facilities and various radiation sources in KURNS as a Professor.
The candidate has enthusiasm and motivation for education and joint-use research activities in the research field.
