Numerous numbers of microorganisms live in the intestinal tracts of humans and form symbiotic relationships. It has been reported that these intestinal microorganisms are associated with various diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease, infections, allergic diseases, and metabolic diseases such as obesity diabetes, and cancer.

[Work content and job description]
In this job offer, we would like you to conduct research aimed at clarifying the mechanism by which gut microbes prevent infection and elucidate the pathogenesis of the host. In addition, you will also engage in research about the activation mechanism of the host immune system by gut microbes. Based on this research, you will engage in research about the development of mucosal vaccines.
