Duties in education and Responsibilities:
(Immediately after hiring) Lectures, seminars, experiments, and exercise courses related to computer science and information technology.
(Scope of change) Duties as determined by the University.

1.The successful applicant will partly or fully give the lectures listed below, for which the Laboratory of Algorithmics is responsible.
(1)Subjects in the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology:
Theory and Practice of Algorithms, Laboratory seminar, and others
(2)Subjects in the School of Engineering:
Information theory, Computer Programming I, Exercise in Computer Programming, Data mining and machine learning, Experiments and Excise in Computer Science and Information Technology, Exercise in Technical English, and others.
(3)Subjects in the general education: The World of Science and Technology, Freshman Seminar, Introduction to Informatics II, and others.
2.The Laboratory of Algorithmics provides education and research on theoretical and practical aspects of algorithms for machine learning and data mining. Working through the research, they conduct research and education on their methods to analyze and solve real-world problems in science, industry, and societies using mathematics that includes discrete mathematics.
Applicants also should have high motivation for the education of graduate and undergraduate students and the ability to participate in guidance for research and thesis. We invite applicants who will conduct research on machine learning and data mining from theoretical aspects or applicational aspects based on theories.
