To realize fusion of cyberspace and physical space, which is essential in digital transformation (DX), attention has been paid to the following research topics: information theory, information security, media security, behavior sensing, bioinformatics, media information processing, embedded system, intelligent agent, social computing, human–computer interaction, and data mining. In addition, we also emphasize the topics included in the areas to which the above technologies can be practically applied.

[Work content and job description]
Our department needs talented human resources that are engaged in advanced studies and education, and are playing important roles to develop excellent achievements in the area with the above topics. In the graduate school, the employee is in charge of advanced subjects related to computer science, in addition to directing graduation thesis works. In the undergraduate school, the employee is required to be in charge of fundamental subjects related to computer science, and to direct graduation research. Note that some other lectures belonging to conputer science area may be assigned.
