The Department of Japanese Literature, Faculty of Letters, Hanazono University, is seeking a full-time faculty member with an educational and research specialization in the field of Japanese contemporary literature, or Japanese mystery, science fiction, and light novels, who can apply the results of their research in education, provide appropriate guidance to students, and make positive contributions to the advancement of the educational aims of the department.

• Teach courses related to Japanese contemporary literature (especially since the 1970s), mystery, science fiction, and light novels
• Do work related to the management of the department and to the internal operations of the university
