* Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Faculty of Environmental, Life, Natural Science and Technology, Okayama University invites applications for the following position. We are looking for a person who will promote research on the development and functional evaluation of wood materials as structural components, and teach related subjects at undergraduate and graduate schools.
[Work content and job description]
(1) Lectures on "Introduction to Fire Safety of Timber Architecture" and "Introduction to CLT Architecture" in the Graduate School, and research instruction for master’s and doctoral students.
(2) Lectures on subjects related to architecture and civil engineering such as "Wood and Wood-Based Materials" in the Faculty of Engineering and instruction on graduation research.
* Lectures on mathematics, information engineering, and CAD may be assigned.
(3) Education and research in cooperation with local authorities and companies at a research facility to be established in Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture.
* You may be assigned to a satellite laboratory to be established in Maniwa City.

Annual salary:7 million yen - 10 million yen
Wages description:Basic annual salary and Performance-based annual salary : 7,102,000-9,376,000yen
The amount of salary is determined in consideration of the person’s educational background, licenses and qualifications, work experience, etc. according to the National University Corporation Okayama University annual salary application staff salary rules.

Working hours:08:30-17:30
