* Background of the recruitment and description of the project
Quantum System Electronics, SANKEN (The Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research), Osaka University is studying the low-temperature quantum transport based on semiconductor quantum dots and the quantum science based on semiconductor spin qubits for application to quantum technologies. The current research area includes experimental works on (A) photon-spin quantum interface and its application to quantum networks, (B) intermediate-scale quantum links between spin qubits and their applications to quantum computers. The laboratory is seeking an academic staff member who works on the research with enthusiasm and can contribute to developing with a flexible attitude and harnessing the strength of the laboratory’s research.
The successful applicant will be responsible for not only conducting research but also teaching the undergraduate and graduate students. Inquiries regarding this position are welcome.
