At College of Global Liberal Arts (GLA), all students will be awarded degrees from both Ritsumeikan University (RU) and the Australian National University (ANU) through the Dual Degree Program. In Japan, they will study the liberal arts, with a focus on becoming a proactive member of the global society in the twenty-first century. In Australia, they will experience the dynamism of globalization firsthand and deepen their studies of the Asia-Pacific region.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Teach a “CIS 1001 Introduction to Algorithms and Programming” course, which is 2 class sessions (lecture and tutorial) per week in Fall Semester 2024.
-This course introduces students to algorithms as the fundamental logic of all computer programming. In addition to learning essential technical skills and knowledge, students will learn, primarily through project-based learning, how to write their own computer programs using important programming languages. Students will also learn about various problems and challenges that are posed by and confronted with modern global technologies, and will understand the current scope and limitations of computer programming. The course will be delivered through a variety of teaching methods, such as lectures and individual and group projects. -Conduct other duties relevant to teaching, including creating the syllabus, meeting with students as necessary, grading and giving feedback.
