The research explores new frontiers for sustainability and digitalization in yacht design. In particular, it focuses on the scenarios definition and design-technological challenges in the introduction of alternative and green propulsion systems. The activity includes the study of on-board spaces arrangements with reference to risk mitigation, and accessibility of spaces by extended users. Furthermore, it involves new product-service system and innovative design engineering and generative techniques for the digitization of production process.During the research period the candidate is required to participate in research projects on a national/international scale (minimum number of two), the dissemination of research results through the publication of at least nine scientific products, of which three to be presented in international conferences and two in peer-reviewed publications indexed Wos/Scopus.
