OFFER DESCRIPTION

The research fellow will be in charge of studying the different forms of political contention and collective action emerged in the last decade at the transnational level in Europe, with particular attention to the field of migration and refugee rights. By means of qualitative methods he/she will conduct research with a specific focus on solidarity initiatives and grassroots collective action in support of migrants along the Western Balkans route. He/she will also be responsible for the overall project coordination, including the relationship with the partners of the network, with whom she/he will collaborate in the development of a common research programme that includes debates, teaching, training and dissemination activities. She/he will also participate in the project events.

Eligibility criteria

Applications are invited from candidates who have completed a PhD in Political and Social Sciences.
Candidates who have completed the aforementioned degrees abroad may also apply, if said degrees are recognized as equivalent to Italian degrees.
Knowledge of English language is also required to carry out the research activity.
Additional competence and/or experience relevant to the choice of the researcher: knowledge of Croatian language.
