Our research team at the Center for Advanced Studies is looking for interns to work on scientific projects and to support communication activities. The Center is dedicated to future-relevant questions as well as the observation, description and analysis of political, economic and social change processes. Project and research topics include globalisation, sustainability, social discourses, tourism, culture and philosophy.
Tasks:
- Collaboration in the diverse projects of our centre team
- Support in the organisation and implementation of project meetings, workshops and conferences
- Thematic research and writing of text contributions for project documentation and publications in the research areas described above
- Benchmark analyses, survey of best practices
- Support in conducting interviews and surveys
- Transcription and analysis of interviews using computer-assisted software
- Analysis and presentation of statistical data
- Support with communication activities
Requirements:
- Degree, preferably Master's degree, (current or completed no more than 12 months ago) in social or economic sciences, political sciences, sociology, geography, design, cultural studies or communication sciences.
- Very good knowledge of German, Italian and English
- Reliability, flexibility and ability to work in a team
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods of social research and knowledge of statistical programmes, such as R, would be an advantage
