The sector is interested in scientific and educational activity - training in the fields that havethe skills that they study philosophy in its genesis and development historical, identifyingtheories, positions and results in historical-cultural contexts defined chronologically o identified in relation to specifictheoretical orientations and whose reconnaissance requires the possession of one specific research methodology, supported by peculiar linguistic knowledge and techniques of philologically founded analyzes, in particular in case of the history of ancient thought (History of ancient philosophy) and medieval thought(History of medieval philosophy).
