Offer Description
This research grant is funded by the project INNOVARISI and it is linked to the research activities of the WP3: Biodiversity as measure of sustainability. The overall aim of the WP is to study and analyse data on the animal biodiversity associated with rice agro-ecosystems, with a special focus on the aquatic invertebrates as well as the soil fauna and microbiota of rice paddies. Therefore, the expected activities include both the data collection in the field, by adopting specific sampling techniques according to the taxonomic group, and laboratory analysis, such as the systematic identification of aquatic invertebrates and eDNA metabarcoding of soil animals. The findings of this study will be disseminated in the form of technical reports, scientific publications, and congress contributions.
