Offer Description
The project focuses on the analysis of the Spanish language in its different varieties of use. The main objective of the project is the study of the changes underway in the Spanish language due to the hybridization of textual genres, the transformations of analogue and digital communication contexts, the contact between Spanish and other languages, thanks to cultural exchanges. The project involves the following activities: the study of Spanish language in its many discursive and pragmatic linguistic facets, in written, oral and multimodal texts; the study of discursive and conversational styles in specialized communication contexts; the analysis of linguistic variation in the Hispanic world; and the analysis of cultural relations between Spanish and Italian. The project also enhances the use of digital methodologies and tools (corpus linguistics) for the analysis and creation of resources on the Spanish language.
