Offer Description

The research fellow will have to:

− Compile, under the supervision of the PI, a database of scientific literature on historical IA epistemology;
− Assisting the PI in the preparation of project publications;
− Support the PI in creating and maintaining relations with stakeholders and national and
international institutions involved in the research;
− Supporting the PI and the team in monitoring events, conferences, and press reviews on
relevant topics for the project's research, in organising and managing internal team activities and dedicated events, and in creating and managing content for the project's website and social media.

Skills/Qualifications

The interview aims to assess the candidates’ skills and expertise on the following subjects:

• Knowledge of the philosophy and history of science and technology, with special reference to cognitive science and artificial intelligence, philosophy of mind and language, and sociology of cultural and communicative processes.
• Discussion of research on the historical epistemology of AI;
• Discussion on experiences in organizing events and academic publications;
• Knowledge of English;

Benefits

The research fellowship amounts to 24,320.00 Euros per year, including taxes and social charges.

The selection is made through evaluation of candidates' scientific and professional qualifications, curriculum vitae, scientific production, followed by an interview

Selection process

Short-listed candidates will be invited for interview on 2024, March 20th at 2 p.m. (Italian time).
