HT is a new interdisciplinary research institute, created and supported by the Italian government, whose aim is to develop innovative strategies to promote human health and aging through a multidisciplinary and integrated approach, combining genomics, computational and structural biology and neuroscience, as well as data and decisions sciences.

The Human Technopole Foundation is looking for a Recruiter to work in the HR Department.

Under the supervision of the HR Advisor Recruitment, s(he) will be responsible for the recruitment and selection processes inside the organisation with a strong focus on recruitment of scientific staff.

S(he) will have the following main responsibilities:

  • Partner with Line Managers to determine staffing needs as defined in the budget ensuring the recruitment plan is implemented;
  • Publish advertisements on HT web career page and key external platforms and screening resumes;
  • Perform in-person and remote interviews with candidates;
  • Perform reference and background checks;
  • Coordinate interviews with the hiring managers;
  • Follow up on the interview process status;
  • Maintain relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved;
  • Stay current on the organization structure, personnel policies, and local and national laws regarding employment practices;
  • Serve as a liaison with area employment agencies, external providers for HR services and colleagues;
  • Complete timely analytics and reports on recruitment activities.

  • University degree;
  • Ideally minimum 2 years of experience in the role gained within the HR Department of a structured and international research or academic organization is a must;
  • Mandatory strong fluency in English – HT is an international research institute;
  • Knowledge of Italian will be considered a plus;
  • Excellent knowledge of HR and Recruitment related social and web tools;
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and to work independently;
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to lead and gain the assistance and cooperation of other organization members;
  • Ability to build trust through operating with transparency and creating an open and positive environment;
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity;
  • Special consideration will be given to candidates who are part of the protected categories list, according to L. 68/99.
