Offer Description

The ideal candidate’s research interests lie in the area of the economics of gender, possibly investigating the role of gender in affecting educational and job choices and outcomes, and/or in cooperative game theory and bargaining, analysed from an experimental perspective. It is requested that she/he has experience in designing and running experiments in the laboratory and, preferably, online. Great knowledge of programming in zTree and/or oTree, Stata (or another statistical software) is essential while experience with Prolific is preferable.

Skills/Qualifications

The interview, which will be held telematically, on the following subjects:
great ability in managing the tools of experimental economics, specifically when considering lab and online experiments.
Ability in running experiments with oTree or zTree and in the analysis of experimental data by means of statistical softwares.
Knowledge of the literature in the area of the economics of gender and/or cooperative game theory is a plus
During the interview, knowledge of ENGLISH will be assessed.
The recruitment will be sensitive to the cross-cutting priorities of the PNRR in relation to generational, gender and territorial equality of opportunity

Benefits

The research fellowship amounts to Euro 24.320,38.=per year, gross to the recipient, net of the expenses to be sustained by the Provider. The amount may be subject to adjustment in the event of variations in the law

The selection is made through evaluation of candidates' scientific and professional qualifications, curriculum vitae, scientific production, followed by an interview

completion of attendance at a doctoral program in Economics, while awaiting the award of the degree;
publications in scientific journals on topics in experimental economics;
post-docs and/or research grants in the area of experimental economics;
specialization diplomas and certificates of attendance at postgraduate specialization courses, obtained both in Italy and abroad, the performance of documented research activities at public and private entities with contracts, scholarships or assignments both in Italy and abroad
