Offer Description

The research grant aims at developing new machine learning techniques capable of operating on waveform signals or their compact representations for generative applications. In particular, the research will be of support to the long-term objective of the EYE-FI.AI project, which is to analyze the interference caused by objects and humans on an electromagnetic signal in order to perform tasks such as object or person recognition, reconstruction of the area occupied by a person, and recognition and reconstruction of simple actions from observations of the signal behavior over time

- Generative AI,
- Diffusion models,
- Autoregressive models,
- Neural Networks,
- Geometric Deep Learning.
- ascertainment of Italian language for foreign candidate(s),
- ascertainment of knowledge of English as a foreign language

The research fellowship amounts to 19.367,00 Euros per year, including taxes and social charges

The selection is made through evaluation of candidates' scientific and professional qualifications, curriculum vitae, scientific production, followed by an interview


Selection process

The interview will be on 23th February 2024 at 5.00 p.m. The interview will be held in remote.
The short-list of the candidates admitted to the interview, or any postponement, will be published on the University’s webpage by 21th February 2024
