Offer Description

Realization of analog models for studying the seismic cycle of subduction megathrusts. Optical analysis based on cross-correlation of images to derive the surface deformation field and cosismic slip. Accelerometric data analysis for seismic source identification. Creation and archiving of experimental datasets. Characterization of physical and frictional properties of analog materials. Machine learning and deep learning analysis for quantitative and predictive characterization of experimental features.
