One junior postdoctoral position is available at the TecMedLab www.tecmedlab.unipr.it at the Department of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Parma (Parma, IT) in the group of Prof. Michele Miragoli. The TecMedLab research activity is dedicated to understanding the mechanisms underlying arrhythmias and to finding possible therapies using nanomaterials.

The interdisciplinary project supported by the PNRR “Ecosistema dell’innovazione” aims to discover and test biocompatible nanomaterials for local/systemic nano delivery and its technology transfer. The Project will take advantage of a collaboration with the Simulation and the 3D Printing Laboratories at the Department of Medicine and Surgery.

We are now looking for a motivated postdoc with excellent interpersonal and team skills with the following characteristics:

  • Ph.D. in Biological Science or Bioengineering
  • Mandatory experience in handling lab animals and cell biology.
  • Knowledge of 3D printing, software programming, and nanomedicine will be a plus.

The position is for 1 year, renewable. Starting period: Spring 2023

Salaries will be the Spin point 1; Assegno di Ricerca UNIPR € 23.891/year (tax exemption).
