A post-doc position in Condensed Matter Theory is open in the group of “Nanophysics and Quantum Systems” at the Department of Applied Science and Technology at Politecnico di Torino (Italy).
The project led by Prof. Fabrizio Dolcini aims to investigate topological materials and fermionic quantum gases, with a focus on out of equilibrium properties, dissipation/decoherence phenomena and correlation effects, by combining both analytical and numerical tools.
The contract will start at the end of the year 2022, will last 30 months, with a netto monthly salary of about 1750€. The applicant is supposed to have a strong background in Quantum Physics and Condensed Matter theory, to have finalized her/his Ph.D. thesis work in Physics (possession of the Ph.D. title at the moment of application is not strictly required).
