OFFER DESCRIPTION

Sustainable commuting to work is a key component of reducing pollution and greenhouse gas emissions since the private car use is still predominant. The research project aims at assessing the acceptability and related effectiveness level of different alternative policies to foster the use of sustainable transportation means, such as bikes, to commute to work, through a stated choice experiment. The collected data will be used to estimate through Multinomial Logit Models the variables determining the adoption of bicycle and/or other sustainable transport means and the total utility deriving from the policy implementation. The social and environmental benefits and the financial feasibility and
sustainability of each policy will be also considered.

Selection process

The selection procedure is carried out through a comparative evaluation of the CVs of the candidates who have applied, on the basis of their qualifications and publications.

Once the evaluation of the qualifications has been carried out, the Commission will decide whether to integrate it with a possible interview, in an electronic session, through the use of the MS TEAMS Platform. The date and time of the interview will be communicated 7 days in advance, to the e-mail address provided by the candidates in the application form.
