Offer Description
Synthetic inglese: the research project focuses on the combination of new synthesis organic molecules and photosynthetic microorganisms to produce new hybrid architectures exploitable in bioelectronic devices. The activity relies organic synthesis, purification and characterization of new molecules and polymers to interface microorganisms with electrodes. Moreover, different strategies of chemical functionalization (SAMs, protein monolayers, self-adherence, in-situ polymerization, bioconjugation) will be used to directly anchor microorganisms on the devices for obtaining light-to-voltage conversion.
