We are recruiting a PhD student to work on the study and development of modular and reconfigurable collaborative robots for precision agriculture.

The research will involve the development of automatically reconfigurable robots, both in terms of sensors and tools, as well as automatic control and trajectory/path planning.

The research will be conducted at the UniBZ Field Robotics Lab at NOI tech-park, in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Italia Arena Lab and the Laimburg Agricultural Research Center.

Applicants should have a strong background in mechatronics, and/or control systems engineering.

Please note that candidates are required to have been awarded their MS degree before 31 October 2022.

The majority of the candidate's thesis research will be conducted on-site at the UniBZ FiRST Lab and the doctoral candidate must be physically present during this time.
