Master’s Degree in biomedical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or equivalent and professional curriculum suitable for carrying out research activities.

• Scientific experience , tested also by scientific publications about the following activities: - Good knowledge of time-lapse live fluorescence and confocal microscopy of 2D and 3D culture systems; Biological laboratory practice with in vitro cell cultures and their manipulation; - Immunostaining; - Knowledge of plasmid transfection techniques, nucleic acid and protein extraction; western blot; - Knowledge of the electrospinning technique; - Knowledge of 3D printing technique for PLA filament extrusion for the realization of rapid prototypes; - Milling techniques with CNC machinery of carbon fiber laminate. - Knowledge of Matlab and Python and other programming languages (e.g., Python, Julia, C, C++, Java); - Knowledge of image segmentation techniques with techniques such as thresholding, kmeans clustering, edge detection, watershed, etc; - Knowledge of software for modeling and simulation of biomechanical systems (e.g., Abaqus for structural analysis; e.g., Ansys Fluent for fluid dynamics analysis). - Experience with the use of Computer-Aided Design software (e.g., AutoCad, Solidworks, Pro/Engineering, Rhinoceros) and software for 3D modeling and 3D printing of radipi prototypes (e.g., Meshmixer and Cura); - Knowledge of the main software for data and image analysis (e.g., ImageJ/FIJU). - Knowledge of MS Office and the main software for statistical analysis (e.g., OriginLab and GraphPad Prism) and for bibliography management (e.g., Endnote, Mendeley).

Basic knowledge of Italian (for foreign candidates)
