Offer Description
LIFEPOSTFIRE aims to demonstrate the effectiveness of combining traditional methods with innovative nature-based solutions for post-fire ecological restoration. The project applies ecological principles, cutting-edge technologies and community involvement. Key innovations include ecological mapping using drones, the restoration of soil microbiota and climate-smart strategies for creating fire-resilient ecosystems. The project also assesses the impact of fires on vegetation, soil, hydrology and wildlife, demonstrating how restoration promotes the recovery of ecosystem functionality.

Eligibility criteria
Italian or foreign candidates may apply for the selection process provided that, by the deadline for submission of applications, they meet the following requirements: a Master’s degree in Agricultural Biotechnology (LM7), obtained no more than six years ago, and a CV demonstrating suitability to assist with the research activities covered by the post. Experience in supporting the management of European projects is required.
