Offer Description
The project falls within the "Digital, Industry, Aerospace" area with sub-areas: 5.4.2 of the
PNR (High performance computing and big data) and 5.4.7 of the PNR (Aerospace). As regards the
High performance computing and big data subfield, we will focus on articulation 2. Basic and
fundamental research in engineering, science and information technology for HPC and big data. In
particular, from a software point of view, the research includes: software engineering
methodologies, processes, technologies and tools for the development of HPC applications;
mathematical methods, algorithms and mathematical software for HPC; pre-processes of
preparation, semantic classification, transformation and filtering (data mining and cleaning). The
multidisciplinary project will apply the results obtained in the first subfield to the Aerospace
subfield where work will instead be carried out within articulation 8, exploration and observation of
the universe.
