The research program is part of work package 3 (Individuals and Households in the Labor Market) of the activity of Spoke 3 of the GRINS project. In particular, the main task of the research will be to evaluate the effectiveness of a mentoring program for female university students in Southern Italy. Through a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT), the research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the mentoring program in improving the academic performance, employment choices, and job careers of participating students. Results from the project will help design mentoring programs that can improve women’s educational and occupational choices, an issue that is especially important in Southern Italy.
