Ge alloying by Pulsed Laser Melting for photoelectronic applications”

Updated: over 1 year ago
Deadline: 06 Oct 2022

Experimental investigation of Germanium modification processes involving Pulsed Laser Melting (PLM)
techniques. The aim is to tailor the structural (lattice parameter and strain) and optoelectronic (doping,
carrier mobility, photoluminescence/absorption) of Ge for applications in nanoectronics, photonics and
gamma-ray detectors. Activity to be performed by the fellow: design of experiments, processes,
morphological, structural and electrical characterization, data analysis and interpretation
