Full Professor in Contemporary History

The type of commitment will concern the research themes of the scientific disciplinary sector M-STO/04, as provided for by the declaratory of the sector, with particular reference to the social, economic and cultural themes connected with the analysis and management of the cultural heritage both in the contemporary dimension and in the historical perspective; traditional and innovative methodologies for the study of cultural phenomena and cultural heritage, the institutions responsible for it and the socio-economic dynamics associated with it, especially in Italy; the use of memories and memory, including through images, with particular attention to the social, political and institutional dimensions; the history of institutions, policies and social, economic and cultural dynamics of welfare systems, including in the context of wars, pandemics and social change. The scientific commitment foresees the interest in collaborations, in participating in competitive calls with innovative research projects, in leading/participating in applied research projects, in taking on commitments, including organisational ones, in scientific collaboration, including interdisciplinary ones, with the disciplines and methodologies of analysis present at the School, including innovative methodologies and tools for analysing and organising data, and with the disciplines traditionally active in the contexts of research and management relating to cultural heritage.
