Research aims to minimize environmental impact (CFP) of processes based on sustainable energy sources for the energy transition. The energy transition is based on energy production from renewable sources (or equivalent), the application of decarbonisation technologies and climate change mitigation. The aim of the research is the development of a technological solution for energy production based on the sustainable exploitation of natural resources, CO2 storage and a quasi-zero environmental impact. To this end, experimental activities will be carried out in Terni Labs for the demonstration of the technology, evaluating the energy parameters and carbon dioxide storage efficiency. Environmental impact analysis and LCA (life Cycle assessment) will be used to compare different technologies.
