The project of research will be focused on: i) the study of traditional and innovative aluminum alloys for the production of components by additive manufacturing (Laser-based Powder Bed Fusion – L-PBF); ii) the study and development of heat treatmens, surface treatments and/or coatings for aluminum alloys produced by L-PBF.
The goal is to assess the effects of chemical composition, process, microstructure, heat treatments and surface treatments on the mechanical and tribological behavior of the alloys.
