Offer Description

The program aims to define techniques and tools for designing applications based on micro-services with reduced environmental impact. A first aspect will concern techniques for profiling and predicting the environmental impact of the microservices that make up an application and the nodes on which these can be executed. Furthermore, the research will focus on the automated generation of microservice deployment requirements on the infrastructure aimed at reducing the energy consumed by applications based on the geographical position of the nodes. In defining the requirements, the interrelationship between the different application components and the data used by them for computation will be taken into account, considering the functional dependencies between the microservices.
