Offer Description

The research will be aimed at the design, preparation and characterization of composites starting from natural sources. All procedures will be sustainable and carried out according to green chemistry principles. The composites will be prepared starting from liquid rubbers and biofillers (i.e. lignin) which will be appropriately functionalized with functional groups capable of generating reversible bonds. They will be characterized through different techniques such as infrared analysis, nuclear magnetic resonance, thermogravimetric analysis, tensile tests. The materials thus obtained will be used for the preparation of films and will find application mainly in the flexible electronics sector.
