The post is for a three-year period. The annual gross salary is about 37.000 Euros. The area of research and teaching is Telecommunications:

Requested research duties: research in the field of technologies for multimedia forensics, with particular reference to methodologies based on adversarial machine learning, for the automatic detection of deep fakes, manipulations and AI-based generation of images and video sequences as part of the intervention for the implementation of fundamental research activities relating to the SERICS Extended Partnership (PE00000014), within the Spoke 3 “Attacks and Defenses” (UNIVERSITY OF CAGLIARI) admitted to funding with Public Notice no. 341 of 15-02-2022 “ Partenariati estesi alle università, ai centri di ricerca, alle aziende per il finanziamento di progetti di ricerca di base" - within the scope of the Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza, Mission 4 "Education and research" - Component 2 "From research to business ” – Investment 1.3, financed by the European Union – NextGenerationEU – CUP: F53C22000740007" AI-RESCUE SOS_AI project

Requested teaching duties: 20 hours of teaching activity coherent with the research activity and in the context of teaching activities of the Master Degree and Ph.D. school as yearly planned at the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento

The overall annual hours of work for research, teaching and office hours for students within the areas indicated above equal 1,500 hours per year.

Foreign language required: excellent level of English
