Assistant Professor in Pathology

The Centre for Medical Sciences of the University of Trento invites candidates active in Pathology to apply for a position at the Assistant Professor level.

The post is for a three-year period. The annual gross salary is about 45.000 Euros. The area of research and teaching is Pathology:

Requested research duties: the research activity will develop within the themes of Pathology with specific competences in autopsy, histological, cytological, ultrastructural and molecular diagnostics, also with reference to areas of pathology that involve specific anatomical-clinical skills;

Requested teaching duties: the teaching activity, in line with the annual teaching program of Centre for Medical Sciences, will be in the scientific disciplinary sector MED/08 (Pathology) or related areas.

Requested clinical duties: Clinical-aid functions by the Multizone Hospital Unit of Pathology of the Provincial Authority for Health Services.

The qualification to practice the medical profession in Italy is required, as well as a medical specialization diploma in Pathology.

The overall annual hours of work for clinical activity, research, teaching and office hours for 

students within the areas indicated above equal 1,500 hours per year.

Foreign language required: excellent level of English

Knowledge of Italian: level adequate to carry out the assigned teaching load
