5G network evolution towards 6G; networking and QoS aspects

The project is focused on the evolution of the 5G systems towards the new 6G architectures. This evolution will assume a strategic role in various social and economic sectors of lifetime.
The activities foreseen in the project are: i) integration of communication, control and localization functions, based on distribution of processing capacity and machine learning techniques; ii) new services offered by 6G networks possibly based on extended reality; iii) interaction protocols among users and network devices; iv) mathematical models for performance evaluation of proposed solutions. A selective procedure is announced, based on qualifications and interview, for the recruitment of no. 1 researcher with a fixed-term employment relationship of type "A", with full-time commitment, for carrying out research, teaching, supplementary teaching and student service activities, lasting three years, possibly extendable for a further two years, for the execution of the research program related to the following project "Evolution of 5G networks towards 6G networks: networking and QoS aspects"
