Offer Description

The post is for a permanent position. The area of research is Neurology:
Requested research duties: activities in the field of central and peripheral nervous system and muscle diseases, from functional semeiotics, instrumental and laboratory diagnostics, clinical methodology to neurological and pain therapies. Specific areas of expertise include clinical neurobiology, neurophysiopathology, clinical neuropsychology, emergency neurology, neurogenetics and neurological rehabilitation.
Requested teaching duties: the teaching activity, in line with the annual teaching program of Centre for Medical Sciences, will be in the scientific disciplinary sector MED/26 or related areas
Requested clinical duties: carrying out care activities at the Operational Unit for Infectious Diseases of the Provincial Agency for Health Services - Trento Headquarters.
Qualifications required for carrying out the assistance activity: Degree in Medicine and Surgery with a Specialization in Neurology or equipollent discipline and Registration in the Italian Order of Surgeons and Dentists;
Maximum number of publications to be presented: 16

Specific Requirements

Applications are welcome from candidates with the following qualifications: a) candidates who have passed the Italian National Academic Qualifications Procedure (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale) as per Article 16 of Law no. 240/2010 for the subject sector 06/D6 or one of the subject sectors included in the same wider subject sector 06/D and for the academic level that is the subject of the selection procedure; b) candidates who got the qualification "idoneità" according to “Legge 210/1998” for the position corresponding to Full Professor, provided the qualification is still valid; c) candidates already employed as Full Professor in other universities; d) scholars who are permanently employed in research or teaching activities at university level outside Italy in positions which are equivalent to "Full Professor" (according to ministerial equivalences).
The Degree in Medicine and Surgery with a Specialization in Neurology or equipollent discipline and the Registration in the Italian Order of Surgeons and Dentists are required.
