Offer Description

The post is for a permanent position. The area of research is Pediatrics.
Requested research duties: activities in the field of pediatrics with expertise in pathophysiology, functional and instrumental medical semeiotics, clinical methodology and therapy in the developmental age, with specific expertise in preventive and social pediatrics, general and specialized pediatric diseases of medical interest from the newborn to adolescence inclusive, and pediatric aspects of motor activities and community medicine
Requested teaching duties: the teaching activity, in line with the annual teaching program of Centre for Medical Sciences, will be in the scientific disciplinary sector MED/38 or related areas
Requested clinical duties: carrying out care activities in the complex of pediatrics of the Provincial Agency for Health Services, with specific diabetologic and endocrinologic expertise and in the use of innovative technologies in these areas
Qualifications required for carrying out the assistance activity: Degree in Medicine and Surgery with a Specialization in Pediatrics or equipollent and Registration in the Italian Order of Surgeons and Dentists;
Maximum number of publications to be presented: 12

Applications are welcome from candidates with the following qualifications: a) candidates who have passed the Italian National Academic Qualifications Procedure (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale) as per Article 16 of Law no. 240/2010 for the subject sector 06/G1 or one of the subject sectors included in the same wider subject sector 06/G and for the academic level that is the subject of the selection procedure; b) candidates who got the qualification "idoneità" according to “Legge 210/1998” for the position corresponding to Associate Professor, provided the qualification is still valid; c) candidates already employed as Associate Professor in other universities; d) scholars who are permanently employed in research or teaching activities at university level outside Italy in positions which are equivalent to "Associate Professor" (according to ministerial equivalences).
The Degree in Medicine and Surgery with a Specialization in Pediatrics or equipollent and the Registration in the Italian Order of Surgeons and Dentists are required.
