Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin, invites applications for a 3 Year Fixed Term Contract Teaching Fellowship in the School of Education.

The School of Education wishes to appoint a Teaching Fellow who will support the School’s new M.Oid. san Oideachas Lán-Ghaeilge agus Gaeltachta, particularly in relation to the development of students’ Irish language proficiency to level C1 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Working with staff in the School, they will be responsible for the preparation and/or teaching of modules on Irish language proficiency and on Irish-Medium and Gaeltacht Education. The Teaching Fellow will also be responsible for facilitating workshops and tutorials and providing additional supports that will provide a scaffold for students’ language development. The position will involve designing, grading and moderating student assignments and undertaking associated administrative tasks, especially in relation to assessing CEFR Level C1 proficiency in Irish. The Teaching Fellow will act as a teaching contact for individuals and offices engaged with teaching the M.Oid. programme in the School. 

The Teaching Fellow will report to the Head of School. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated candidate to work in a dynamic and interesting role.  

Post Status: 3 Year Fixed Term Contract
