Systems Administrator

Maynooth University wishes to appoint a Systems Administrator at AOII grade, on a full-time permanent basis, to provide support to ICT infrastructure services and their use by the University. This is an opportunity to join IT Services as part of a team supporting Internet via HEAnet, campus and cloud data centre, campus network, Wi-Fi, voice, Office365, VLE, web, storage and directory services to students and staff. This role reports to the ICT Infrastructure Manager, supervised by the Senior Systems Programmer and is part of the Infrastructure team. The Infrastructure team works alongside the User Support team as part of the IT Operations section in IT Services.

It may be necessary to work outside normal hours on occasion as is typical with roles involving critical infrastructure and services.

Administrative Officer II (2022) Salary Scale:                                €41,317 - €59,152 (9 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
