The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences delivers the Pharmacy (integrated) programme (M.Pharm.) and three postgraduate programmes in Pharmaceutical and Clinical Sciences to +350 students, and hosts +15 Principal Investigators and their research teams.

The role of the Senior Technical Storesperson is part of the technical staff team that provides support to the school programmes and research activities across its various locations, including the Panoz Institute and the Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute.

The post holder main responsibilities are raising the day-to-day POs for the laboratories (approx. 80 orders/week) using the College procurement Oracle system, receiving, and distributing deliveries within the school, dealing with invoice queries, tracking small project budgets’ expenditures, and maintaining good record of their activities.

Other duties include manual handling of heavy goods and compressed gas cylinders, liquid nitrogen deliveries, managing the school labcoat washing service, covering order requisition for the School Office, contributing in School events and with lab attendant tasks as required.

Reporting to the Chief Technical Officer 1, the role holder will be responsible for processing orders and deliveries for the teaching and research laboratories in the School. The role holder will work as part of a team and will contribute with a range of duties to ensure the smooth running of the school activities. As first point of contact for staff and students in the School, suppliers and visitors, the role holder is responsible for providing a professional, efficient and welcoming service.

Salary:

This appointment will be made on Senior Technical Stores 1 salary scale Fortnightly rate (€1,312.60 - €1,598.02) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
