Post Summary

Applications are invited for a suitably qualified and experienced person to work in the Infrastructure and Operations Group. The position will be filled on the Administrative Grade 1 scale (Points 1 - 3). The post will facilitate the further development and maintenance of the university’s ICT (Information & Communication Technology) infrastructure and services.

The Senior Network Administrator – Mobility will work in the IT Services department, the main IT/IS supplier to College. Reporting to the Infrastructure and Operations Manager they will work as part of the Infrastructure and Operations group within the Academic Services and IT Operations Division. The Infrastructure and Operations group is the core ICT Infrastructure Service delivery group in Trinity College Dublin with responsibility for the following portfolio of ICT Infrastructure and Services:

  • Network and Wi-Fi services management
  • Storage and cloud solutions
  • Systems management including Directory and Identity services
  • Database administration
  • Web services
  • Communication and collaboration services 

Post status: Specific Purpose Contract

Hours of Post: 35 hours per week


Salary:

This appointment will be made on the Administrative 1 (Points 1-3), Salary Scale (€63,138 - €81,676 per annum) at a point in line with current Government pay policy.
