Senior Learning Technologist

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Learning Technologist to join the Maynooth University Centre for Teaching and Learning (CTL).

As part of its work, the CTL seeks to promote, support, and inspire the development of good practice and innovation in technology enhanced learning (TEL). The Senior Learning Technologist will report to the Head of the Centre for Teaching and Learning and will work collaboratively with the TEL team and the wider CTL team.

The postholder will lead a range of TEL services and projects to support and develop the University digital learning environment and to develop staff capability in TEL in a range teaching and learning contexts. The person will have experience of managing, administering, and supporting virtual learning environments and learning technologies, be accomplished at designing and delivering professional opportunities for staff, and have proven expertise in the learning design and development of blended and online programmes or have experience in supporting programme teams in this area. The role will require excellent project management and communication skills, together with the ability to work in partnership with colleagues and staff, an interest in developing others, and a commitment to building confidence and trust with staff.

Salary

Administrative Officer I (2023):      €54,297 – €77,470 p.a. pro-rata (9 points)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
