School Manager, School of Music

Applications are invited for a specified purpose post of a School Manager within UCD School of Music.

The School Manager has responsibility for the day-to-day running of the School, working with the Head of School in delivering core administrative duties and with Faculty in the completion of their academic duties and managing dedicated programme activity. The post holder will be required to contribute to the development and operation of the programme, its governance, processes and procedures. The post holder will also assist the processes of admissions, registration, management of assessment and examinations, events management, pastoral student support, and School committee decisions.

The post involves liaising with other university offices as necessary, with responsibility for maintaining core aspects of the School's infrastructure (teaching resources, website, social media, performing groups scheduling).

The post holder is granted a large degree of autonomy in carrying out a wide range of duties and responsibilities in order to support the successful operation of the academic and student supports service delivery model in the School office.

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
