Applications are invited for a Temporary Part Time post of a Research Project Manager within College of Business

CareHD is a Marie Curie RISE research project investigating how the use of Connected Health technologies may support and improve the care of people living with Huntington's Disease (HD). The project team is made up of a collaboration of cross-sectorial partners from a variety of different settings including: healthcare, academia, industry and patient organisations located across five European countries - Scotland, Ireland, England, France and Slovenia.

The CareHD project aims to develop a new model of patient care through identifying how technology can assist those with a HD diagnosis improve their quality of life at various key points along the care pathway. This innovative research is one of the first to empirically map the pathway from the perspective of both clinicians and patient/families.

The research objectives of the CareHD project are:

to advance a shared culture of research and innovation in the area of Huntington's Disease (HD) and

rare diseases (RD).

This will be achieved by:

* bringing key yet fragmented stakeholders in the HD/RD space together to foster knowledge exchange

* identifying evidence based CH solutions for the HD/RD space whilst building a broader knowledge in the area and bringing key experts together to share ideas and skills

* enhancing entrepreneurship by producing evidence for the development of new technologies required

UCD are coordinating the CareHD project and require a short-term Research Project Manager to support to the Co-ordinator and Executive Board in all aspects of project management (WP7).

Fixed salary: €45,000 per annum pro rata
