The Role

We are seeking a half-time (50%) research assistant for 12 months in the Kathleen Lonsdale Institute for Human Health Research at Maynooth University. The institute and research group offer excellent research conditions with state-of-the-art infrastructure in a highly dynamic and collegial environment. The project is collaborative in nature working together with researchers from different subject areas and universities. The role will support Prof Walsh in establishing the Centre for Antimicrobial Resistance Research (CARR) within the Kathleen Lonsdale Institute for Human Health Research at Maynooth University. The CARR will bring together researchers spanning different disciplines, faculties and universities across the island of Ireland and provide a gap analysis of research in this field within the island of Ireland.  

Research Assistant Level 1(2022) Salary Scale:        €28,701 per annum, pro rata (1 point)

Appointments will be made in accordance with public sector pay provisions.
