Research and Admin Support Officer, Earth Sciences

Applications are invited for a temporary post of Research and Administrative Support Officer within UCD School of Earth Sciences.

Prof. Murray Hitzman, SFI Research Professor of Economic Geology in the UCD School of Earth Sciences, is currently seeking a Research and Administrative Support Officer to join his dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide key research and administrative support to the Research Professorship team which currently consists of 3 PhD students, 9 post-doctoral researchers, and two research associates. The role will support the reporting functions for the research programme, including the compilation of researcher outputs (eg. SESAME reporting), research coordination, research showcase event assistance, written contribution to reports of a scientific and technical nature, and the documentation of team's progress and achievements.

Salary Range: 38,000 - 40,000 per annum

Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
