In its current strategic plan, the University has set ambitious goals for postgraduate education and the position of Postgraduate Marketing and Recruitment Officer will play a key role in developing marketing and recruitment strategy to support the growth of the postgraduate student population in support of these goals.

We are seeking an ambitious professional with proven marketing expertise and exceptional experience in driving sustainable growth in postgraduate student numbers. A senior position within the Graduate Studies Office, the Postgraduate Marketing & Recruitment Officer will lead a team responsible for attracting high-quality postgraduate students to study at Maynooth University. The team is responsible for the delivery of recruitment activities to promote Maynooth University to prospective Irish and EU-based students, including associated communication and marketing. The primary purpose of the Postgraduate Marketing and Recruitment Officer is to lead the growth of Maynooth University’s postgraduate student population and to advise the Dean of Graduate Studies and the Director of Postgraduate Academic Programmes in creating and implementing postgraduate student recruitment strategy. They will provide evidence-based market research and analysis which informs the development of a portfolio which will increase enrolments on taught and research-based postgraduate programmes, in line with University strategy. A key part of this role will be to lead a team which will be responsible for the delivery of marketing and recruitment strategy.

Salary

Administrative Officer I (2021);                                        €50,663 - €72,286 per annum (9 points) 

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.  

*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the Administrative Officer scale.
